About the role
Lead the restoration of a much-loved urban wetland, balancing healthy reed beds, clean water, and safe nesting grounds.
What you would do
- Set and deliver the annual habitat management plan.
- Lead seasonal species surveys and nesting-site monitoring.
- Coordinate volunteers, ecologists, and local authority partners.
- Report clearly on biodiversity gains and conservation risks.
What you’ll bring
- Degree or equivalent experience in ecology or conservation.
- Strong wetland habitat management and field survey skills.
- Experience leading teams, contractors, or volunteer groups.
- Confidence working outside in all sensible weather.
