About the role

Coordinate thoughtful, evidence-led support for ducklings and nesting families during the busiest months in central London’s parks.

What you would do

  • Triage welfare reports and coordinate safe, proportionate responses.
  • Train seasonal volunteers in observation and rescue protocols.
  • Work with wildlife vets, park keepers, and rehabilitation centres.
  • Maintain case notes and turn recurring issues into prevention plans.

What you’ll bring

  • Hands-on wildlife care, veterinary support, or rescue experience.
  • Calm judgement and kind communication in sensitive situations.
  • Strong coordination and record-keeping habits.
  • Availability for a rota that includes some early mornings.
